Dr. Amahl Breaks Into Grayson’s Letter To Speak –
“I was stunned! When I thought things couldn't get any worse, this letter took it to a whole new level! I knew what I needed to do. I had to pass it on to a strictly selected group of scientists who I can trust. After four hours of sleep, I found a solution.
I will hide my work in plain sight. I would talk to the department head and give a press conference, but it won't be to necessarily say that I was giving up my research. It will be to announce a new direction in the research. I would repurpose my research to sound like something meaningless and useless to the network’s need, but all along the solutions and cures will be hiding in this work.
“The only people who will know about this arrangement will be me and a select group who will carry on and protect this work. Some of these individuals will not know the full story of the research being conducted. There will, however, be an elite few who will know more than the rest.
Those who are reading this book are par of those elites."
This group includes a scientist, a gatekeeper, and two runners. The scientist is Dr. Francisco Magellan.
You two are my runners who will track down the women involved in the original research and acquire additional information from them. You will work directly with the gatekeeper.
The gatekeeper will finish translating what the Damascus Code says and means.
She is the guardian of the code.
Her name is Madeleine Barrett, Grayson Barrett’s daughter—also known as Morgan Bannister.
Break From Dr. Amahl-
“Morgan is her alias.” Avalon muffled her shock—hand over mouth.
Silas mouth was frozen open. He scraped up enough awareness to say, “Unbelievable.”
He flipped to the next page of the brief.
“I had a feeling Dr. Magellan was involved, but had no idea Morgan—should have known.”
“That’s a good thing.”
Avalon laughed, “That’s a great thing.”
“Did you know she was—“
“No! I had no idea. She never mentioned her dad to me.”
Silas softly replied, “I imagine she couldn’t.”
Avalon agreed, but brought them back to the mission. “This is just the beginning.”
Silas held Avalon’s hand, “Let’s keep reading.”
Back To Avalon And Silas
The silence was deafening. Silas' eyes glazed over in a trance. Avalon could barely speak her next sentence.
She whispered, "So, we’re part of them."
As both continued reading, Amahl revealed the secret of the mission.
